My interest in art began at an early age with my grandmother and I finger painting, making noodle necklaces, and coloring in coloring books, as any child. That interest never went away. As I started school my favorite subject was always art and I looked forward to that class everyday.
Growing up, I never let a day go by where I wasn't creating something, coloring something, building something, or painting something. My interest grew and I became fully interested in the freedom of art.
I discovered an interest in photography in my early teens and started out with a tiny Sony Cyber Shot then later graduated to a Nikon D80, which I still photograph with.
As has everyone, I have had my share of trials, traumas, and tribulations. Art has been the only constant to stay with me. Art has been there for me when I had nothing and no one. Although I quickly learned I can barley draw a stick figure, I discovered that abstract art was a healthy way for me to let my emotions out. Over my 26 years now, I have continued to paint abstractly and allow my feelings and thoughts to be portrayed on canvass.
What I love, and have learned about abstract art is that, what one person sees and feels, another person may see or feel the complete opposite way. Maybe no one feels or sees what I have portrayed, but at the end of the day, at least you've been able to open your mind to a new concept, a new way of thinking, or a completely new feeling. And that is what I love about sharing my art with anyone who is willing to embrace it.
I thank you for your continued support and thoughtless inspiration everyday!
Sincerely,
The Unknown Artist
